Christopher Kalili functions as the VP & PgM Business Unit Pacific for one of Hawaii’s Best Small Businesses. Manages eight separate Government contracts up to $7 million and 52 personnel. Responsible for writing contract proposals and submission to the Regional Contracting Office. Conducts interviews and performs all levels of Human Resource responsibilities for new hires. Performed complex, predictive analysis for terrorism and anti-terrorism/force protection issues within the Navy Region Hawaii Area of Responsibility (AOR).Monitored world-wide events impacting the Commander Navy Region Hawaii shore installations enterprise, including personnel and resources; collecting information; producing reports and briefings; and distributing information to agencies with a need to know basis.
Christopher Kalili enlisted in the Army in 1986 and retired as a Command Sergeant Major in 2007. His career included assignments at Fort Ord, CA, Korea, Fort Huachuca, AZ, Fort Hood, TX, Fort Lewis, WA and Fort Bliss, TX. His deployments include Desert Shield, Desert Storm & Desert Calm, Iraq 1991, Operation Allied Force, Kosovo 1999 and Operation Iraqi Freedom, Iraq 2003-2004.
Mr. Kalili earned many awards during his active duty service, including the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal. Mr. Kalili is most proud of this achievement due to the number of hours committed to improving his community and teaching his Soldiers and his children the importance of volunteerism. Mr. Kalili believes in leading by example and this award is a reflection of his efforts.
Mr. Kalili graduated from Nanakuli High and Intermediate School, earned an Associates of Arts Degree in General Studies from Central Texas College, Texas and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Liberal Arts from Excelsior College, New York.
